Unique Landpod Lodgings

 Landpods are a modern twist on traditional camping. With cosy beds, a space to relax and some creature comforts, you can enjoy a restful night's sleep surrounded by nature.

Our off grid site consists of 3 Woodland Lodges, 1 Eden Lodge,  a Wetroom, Driangle and ‘’The Snack Shack’ 

Scenic Northern Pennines 

Located in the northern Pennines Our site offers  inspiring views, hiking /cycling trails and cold water swimming all on the doorstep.

 There are opportunities  to explore the surrounding areas with the Lake District, Northumberland and Durham all less than an hour away.

Sustainable and Eco-Friendly

Landpods are made from sustainable, recyclable materials. There elevated position has been consciously designed and built to reduce  the footprint left on the environment. 
These off grid  lodgings have solar powered LED lighting  and a  usb charging point.

Shared site facilities

The ‘Snack Shack’

Our converted cattle trailer is now our campsite kitchen.

Fitted with a LPG gas hob, cold water sink, utensils and crockery, you  can rustle up a quick bite to eat or a boil the kettle for a nice hot brew to start your day. 

The town  is a mile drive or walk away, where you can find the Coop and the Spar service station,  along with Alston Wholefoods should you want supplies and a there is a list of local places to eat out inside your Landpod.

Our ‘Snack Shack‘ is a shared self cleaning kitchen , so guests are asked to be considerate campers  and clean up after themselves.

The ‘Tiny Kitchen’ 
This is an extra shared kitchen area for campers to use should the ‘Snack Shack’ be busy. Tiny in size but with a double gas stove, kitchen utensils , crockery, condiments  and a place to wash up.

Complete with a low voltage, solar powered heater

There is a hanging rack for each Landpod lodging, where guests can hang their wet or muddy clothing and leave there boots to dry off overnight

The Dri-Angle

This shared facility, is directly next to our Landpod Wetroom is a triangular shaped cedar structure.

Landpod Campfire\

The campfire is set in the centre of a stone semicircle set away from pods , with benches to enjoy the views across fells. 

This is an all terrain campfire and oven combo, with two swing grills and a pizza oven for all Landpod guests  to use.

We provide the wood for the the campfire, we ask our guests to provide the charcoal.

‘The Boulder’

There is designated smoking area outside the site gate in the form of a big boulder.

Where smoking guests can park their  butts, there is a bucket for butts and an audience of Fluffy butts
