Edenshire Landpods
The Eden Lodge
Experience minimalistic, tiny house living in the Eden Lodge. Comfortably sleeping four people, with two double beds (bunk style).
The large dining area with oak table, storage , shelves and a work surface provides the perfect space to sit and enjoy something to eat.
The ‘piece de resistance’ at the heart of the Eden Lodge has to be the sleek fitted wood burning stove. Complete with a complimentary bucket of logs and kindling to get you started. Enjoy the luxury of cosy camping off grid.
The internal sunken LED lighting system is solar powered and sensored.Should you need one, there is a four port usb charger.
However living off grid you have to be mindful that the need to charge devices could cost you your lighting when it is dark!
The Eden Lodge comes complete with a camping cooler box, cutlery, crockery , pots, pans and condiments, a cast iron wood burning stove kettle, caffetiere and its own outdoor kitchen area complete with a double gas camping stove.
There is also a ‘dry bag’ provided for your clothes when using your wetroom.
Please Note : There is an additional charge for extra logs and kindling , should you need them for your stay. These can be purchased on site @ £10 per bucket .
The Woodland Lodge
Enjoy the compact comfort of the Woodland Lodge , it sleeps four with two double beds (bunk style).
There is snug seating area with storage space underneath and a pull out table which doubles up as a draughts/chess board.
An extended area at the back of the lodge provides extra space to chill out and relax after a days exploring.
The internal sunken LED lighting system is solar powered and sensored.Should you need one, there is a two port usb charger.
However living off grid you have to be mindful that the need to charge devices could cost you your lighting when it is dark!
Each Woodland Lodge comes complete with a camping cooler box for storage, mugs for a warm drink and a dry bag for your clothes when using your wetroom.
All Landpod Woodland Lodges are insulated with a thermal space blankets and fitted with an eco friendly, bio ethanol warm air heating system.
Please Note : We have three Woodland Lodges for rental, two of which are dog friendly.
Prices
The tariif for our Landpod Lodgings set out below are all year round for 2024. We do not increase our prices during mid/high season or bank holidays.
Landpod Eden Lodge (Mole) :
Minimum 2 nights stay.
Maximum 4 people and parking for one car.
Arrival 4pm - Departure 10am
No dogs allowed.
(Surcharge of £10 a bucket refill of wood and kindling for log burner if required.)

If you love camping, walking cycling, cold water swimming, nature, being outdoors and want to get together with family, friends or like minded people, then why not book our whole site?
Each landpod has two double bunks sleeping four people, a wetroom for each landpod and site shared facilities for food prep, cooking and air drying clothes
It is a fantastic way for people to get together, enjoy the outdoors and everything the Northern Pennines AONB has to offer or simply relax and spend time with your tribe.

Landpod Wetroom
In need of a nice hot shower?
Each Landpod Lodging has its own allocated wetroom complete with shower and toilet.
There is a small mirror and storage basket for toiletries, toilet roll is provided in waterproof box. and a bin for all other bathroom waste products.
We would advise guests to bring a pair of flip flops, sliders or crocs to wear to the wetrooms when taking a shower.
Please note:
If you’re tempted to bring 3 or 4 ply toilet paper or wipes as part of your home comfort…..Please Don’t !!
Our water treatment plant is suitable for 2ply toilet paper only. Flushing sanitary products, wipes, paper towels, hair , chemicals etc… will cause a serious issue for the whole system.
We respectfully have a ’No wipes’ ban in our wetrooms.
Site rules
- Check in is strictly between 4pm - 7pm from September 1st and an ETA is required as all check ins are in person, with no exceptions.
We reserve the right to cancel a booking and refuse entry to any guest who arrives outside of these times. This is a private off grid site in an AONB area with low light pollution and dark skies. Please note during winter months check in times will be between 3pm - 6pm. - Children should be supervised by an adult at all times and never left unattended in Landpods or on site.
- All Landpods sleep 4, there are no exceptions.
- All furnishings are to remain inside the Landpod.
- No smoking (including e cigarettes) inside the Landpods or on site at any time.
- There is a designated smoking area directly outside of the site.
- No naked flames ie. candles, joysticks, burners, gas stoves ….allowed inside the pods at any time.
- You are not permitted to bring your own barbecues, fire-pit or campfires.
- Guests are responsible for clearing up their own rubbish and placing it in bins outside the site gates.
- Only 2ply toilet paper (which is provided) can go into our septic system, anything else will cause serious damage. NO WIPES!
- We have two dog friendly Landpod Lodges that cater for a small to medium sized, well behaved dogs only. Your dogs behaviour must not affect other paying guests who are camping. Ie barking, any form of aggressive behaviour, being off the lead or mess. It is the dogs owners responsibility to clean up after there dog immediately.Dogs must be kept on a lead at all times.Never leave your dogs alone or unsupervised inside the Landpods or on site.
- Visitors are not permitted on site.
- Areas sign posted private or unauthorised have no public access.
Creepy Crawlies
Being out in nature we obviously have our fair share of bugs, bees, flies, spiders moths and butterflies, especially in the warmer months. They are all just part of the furniture here.
We appreciate that our site may not be everyone’s cup of tea but if it is then make sure come prepared.
